Happy Pi Day!

No, that is not a misspelling. March 14th is Pi Day, a day to celebrate math. What, that doesn't make sense? Let's put it in numerical terms: 3.14. Aaaahhhhh, makes sense, now, doesn't it? The official moment of Pi occurs at 1:59 today. Why? Because Pi is 3.14159 (and so on, and so on, and so on - did you know that computers have enabled mathematicians to calculate Pi to one million digits?!).

And what better way to celebrate Pi Day than to eat pie! Yes, that's right. At least that's the rationalle our youngest used on us to buy an apple pie for him to share with his math classmates today.
