Fun with words

I couldn't make my mind up about this post's title. I aimed for something witty but in the end, I decided it didn't really matter.

I've been battling with words and deadlines and so my poor lowly blog has suffered. I was written off, you might say, with no more words in me to spout. And I'm still not out from under it so this will be short and sweet, filled with silly little sayings and word play that I've discovered lately.

From my niece's creative mind: Chevy announces their newest SUV - the Subdivision. It won't just take to the road, it is the road.

From the paper: describing Jessica Simpson's singing, like she's gargling chipmunks (that still cracks me up!).

From an article: word of mouse instead of word of mouth to denote information found on the 'net.

From a recent writing workshop, "Stimilate your sentences." She meant to say "senses" but we all liked her literary slip much better. I'm going to put this one on my bulletin board.

And now, just for grins, here's a silly little gardening thing I stumbled upon recently,
I can compost anything

Ta for now!

Uh, the compost anything ditty is CRAZY!!!!!! If only David Hasselhoff was compostable, that would top it off!

As for coming up with zingy titles for posts, it's hard, isn't it?!?!

Compost Hasselhoff? Well, he was fodder for my entertainment so maybe he is compostable after all!
